This stunning beach overlooks Hudayriat Island and its bridge to the west of Abu Dhabi, and enjoys clear, tranquil water ideal for fishing, swimming and waterfront picnics.
Awarded the prestigious Blue Flag sustainability award by the Emirates Wildlife Authority, the beach covers 800 metres of picturesque waterfront and is perfect to play beach volleyball or indulge in watersports activities including kayaking, paddling and more from the beach’s watersports centre.
This spot is popular with both expats and locals thanks to its family-friendly vibe and many watersports offerings. If you’re feeling a little adventurous, you can hire jet-skis to get out on the water. There are also a handful of cafés, around 100 car-parking spaces and plenty of lifeguards on duty.
